About Me
Independent Psychology & Consulting
Hello! I’m Dr. Emily Anastasio. I’ve been a practicing clinical psychologist since 2011. I am a scientist-practitioner, with training and expertise in child and adolescent development, human development across the lifespan, neuropsychological evaluation, psychological assessment, developmental delays and differences, autism spectrum disorders, ADHD, learning disabilities, giftedness, and anxiety disorders. I have extensive experience in the areas of autism, ADHD, and “neurodivergent” presentations. I am also self-educated in functional approaches to health in a more general sense, and the dynamic relationship between physical and mental health.
Courage, truth, reality, and freedom of thought are primary guiding values of mine. I practice a Therapy First approach with individuals experiencing gender dysphoria or gender identity issues.

Originally from New York City, I live in both Minnesota and New York now. Available via telehealth to work with therapy clients who are located in the following states: New York, Minnesota, and Wisconsin. Parent coaching available in all 50 states.

I look forward to meeting you and working with you!
